For a delicious lunch in Le Marais, visit the popular Season. A perfect mix between a coffee bar, juice bar and neo-bistro. Seasonality, organic and gluten-free are the key words at Season, but the (brunch) classics remain a must-eat all year round. The menu includes granola from Dear Muesli, with sliced fruit and fresh cheese or dim sum from Yoom. But also home-made meals such as spring rolls, wraps, tuna tataki and high-quality avocado toast. 2. Madame Brasserie: eat on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower (7th)
Enjoy a delicious French lunch at Madame Brasserie with a view, located on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower. Two levels, one lounge style and the other chic brasserie style with beige leather armchairs. Using local and seasonal ingredients, renowned Michelin star chef Thierry Marx showcases his culinary expertise in every dish. The menu includes Eggs d’Île-de-France mayonnaise with curly lettuce and fresh herbs or celery and green apple remoulade with Meaux mustard, white mimosa asparagus, watercress and raspberry vinaigrette.

3. Maison Binder: vegetarian food in Montparnasse Paris (14th)
Maison Binder was founded by the two brothers Quentin and Baptiste and is somewhat hidden in the heart of the 14th arrondissement. A nice place to have lunch with good funk, disco and soul music, a library, vinyl records or even board games to borrow for a game with your friends: it’s all possible at Maison Binder. In the kitchen, the team creates local dishes that are always very tasty and in which creativity is not lacking. On the menu, among other things, quinoa salad, chickpea bite, Zaatar cream cheese, beetroot hummus or a broccoli guacamole burger.

4. Treize au Jardin: lunch with a view of the Jardin du Luxembourg (6th)
At Jardin du Luxembourg, and tucked away from the busy tourist attractions, you will find Treize au Jardin. The American Laurel Sanderson opened this cozy place in 2013 and in the meantime one of our favorite lunch spots in Paris. The food is organic and responsibly produced, prepared with years of experience. The cocktails, buttermilk biscuits and cake will not disappoint you either. On the cozy outdoor terrace you can enjoy the sun and afterwards take a bouquet of flowers or delicious brownies home with you.

5. Buvette Paris: nice address in the flourishing Pigalle district (9th)
Buvette is the little Parisian sister of the famous Buvette New-York. You can go there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and their delicious weekend brunch. Although born in the US, the cuisine of Buvette is more classically French. They serve small dishes with many vegetarian options (salads with fennel or beets, ratatouille, croque with wild mushrooms and spicy cheese) or miniature versions of e.g. coq au vin and hachis parmentier. Furthermore, an extensive drinks menu with craft cider, organic beer, a tight selection of wines and cocktail and aperitif options.

Café Marlette is also one of the best brunch and lunch spots in Paris and is located in the heart of the lively rue des Martyrs. Owned by sisters Margot & Scarlette (hence the name Marlette), this cute spot doubles as a shop and café. Between the stone walls and cozy furniture, you can chat over lunch or enjoy a cup of Lov Organic tea. 7. L’As du Fallafel: best and most famous falafel in Paris (4th)
For many, one of the best falafels in Paris. Above the front door it says ‘Recommended by Lenny Kravitz’. The rocker is a regular visitor, just like Natalie Portman! This small restaurant in Le Marais is known for its falafels that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, topped with a creamy tahini sauce and fresh vegetables. Impossible to miss this place: pass the long queue on the rue des Rosiers to discover the famous green facade. Don’t hesitate to sit inside for a real Parisian experience or opt for take-away. 8. JOZI Brunch: popular place to have brunch in Paris (5th)
JOZI Brunch is located in a quiet street in the student district Quartier Latin. The interior is pleasant and sober. The menu includes dishes such as a mixed green salad and toast with salmon, avocado or beetroot. Or fluffy pancakes and eggs benedict, served with fresh coffee. It is usually very busy, but waiting in line is definitely worth it.
